Our Story
Lilburn Christian Church was founded in 1972 by a small group of believers who gathered with a simple mission: to share the Good News of Jesus Christ. Over five decades that mission has remained constant even as Lilburn has grown from a quiet railroad town into one of metro Atlanta's most culturally diverse communities.
The church is non-denominational and Evangelical, welcoming all who seek to know Christ and be transformed by His grace. We are affiliated with no denomination but hold firmly to historic biblical Christianity.
What We Believe
- The Bible is the inspired, inerrant Word of God and our final authority in all matters of faith and practice.
- There is one God, eternally existent in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
- Jesus Christ is fully God and fully man; His atoning death and bodily resurrection are the only basis for salvation.
- Salvation is by grace through faith alone, and every believer is called to a life of discipleship and service.
- The local church is the primary vehicle for worship, community, and carrying the Great Commission.
